MONAT Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive Review

Winter weather is here!  Well, it's snowing where I am, at least.  If you live in a place where it gets nice and cold and dry during the winter, too, then MONAT's Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive just may be your new best friend.

The Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive is a multipurpose oil that can be used anywhere you need some extra moisturizing.  The key ingredient is Abyssinian Oil (along with 10 other rare oils), the molecular structure of which mimics the body's own natural oils.  Clinical trials have shown that it's more effective than argan oil.  It's also entirely cruelty-free.

Some of the other ingredients include Capixyl, which helps reduce scalp inflammation, strengthens and thickens hair, and stimulates natural hair growth.  Procataline helps maintain healthy levels of antioxidants in hair follices, combating premature thinning and protecting color and shine.  Lastly, Crodasorb is a UV absorber that helps protect hair from sun damage.

The oil can be used daily, and it provides nutrients like Omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidants to wherever you apply it to help prevent premature aging.  When used on the hair, it seals, coats, and smooths the cuticle to boost shine and protect from environmental stressors.  I like to use oils like this on my hair, but it can easily be used to target dry patches on the skin as well.

Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive works great as a facial moisturizer, as it works to control sebum production by replenishing the skin's natural oils.  If your skin gets too dry (on your face or elsewhere), this usually triggers the body to make even more oil, which only exacerbates the problem.  It may seem counterintuitive to apply an oil on oily skin, but as a sufferer of oily skin, I can promise that it works!

A full-sized vial contains 1.0 fl oz (30 mL) of product.  At first I assumed this was mainly to be used on the hair and scalp, so that's what I did with it the first few days I was testing it.  But then I realized that it could be used as an effective moisturizer as well, so I tried using it on my skin at night after cleansing.  I really like this oil, it's fast absorbing and has been effective in all the ways I've used it.  I'll probably continue to use it as a nighttime facial moisturizer during the winter, since the dry, cold air can be so harsh on my skin!
